Lucy Quinn Fabray was born on February 1, 1994 to parents Russell and Judy Fabray. The youngest daughter, Quinn was the apple of her parent's eye. Quinn was one of the most popular students at William McKinley High School. She was President of The Celibacy Club, the captain of the cheerleading team, the Cheerios, and a member of both The God Squad, and New Directions. She was also in the prom court in her junior and senior years. Her life took a drastic turn when she became pregnant with Noah Puckerman's, Finn's best friend, baby. She lied to Finn and tricks him into believing that she got pregnant when he ejaculated prematurely when they were in a hot tub. The truth eventually comes out and Finn and her break up. Afterward, at Regionals, Quinn gives birth to her daughter, Beth, whom she gives up for adoption to Shelby Corcoran, Rachel's biological mother.

In her junior year, she starts a relationship with Sam Evans, but he ends things with her after she cheats on him with Finn. Finn and Quinn restart their relationship and run for prom court, but it ends when Finn realizes he's in love with Rachel. In the summer before her senior year, Quinn discovers she was the product of an affair, her biological father being a man by the name of John Teller. She decided to take the road-trip to California to meet him, where instead she met Jackson Teller, her older half-brother. She spent the rest of the summer with him, trying her best to make sense of such a shocking discovery. At the start of the school year, she begins to exhibit erratic behavior, such as joining The Skanks and plotting to take Beth away from her adoptive mother Shelby. After realizing that she needed to turn her life back around, Quinn ultimately fixed herself up, graduating from high school with plans of going to Yale.

Quinn eventually finds romance with Puck, and the two enter a relationship a real relationship. Just just as their fairytale romance can truly begin, Noah gets word that he is being deployed. Unprepared for how to approach such a big change, the couple decide the most logical step is to get married. They wed in a courthouse just days before he was deployed. During his deployment, Quinn went back to New Haven to finish up school, graduating from Yale with a Bachelors in Psychology, with a minor in Theatre. She always did like to perform.

After eight months of loneliness, Quinn got word that Noah would be coming home. Noah was medically discharged, and diagnosed with severe PTSD. Despite Quinn's numerous pleas for him to seek some sort of help, Noah's stubbornness got the better of him; he instead turned to alcohol to help his demons fade away. Although that didn't bode well for the young couple, when Noah's behavior soon landed him behind bars, after a scuffle at a bar ended with him assaulting an officer. As broken as Noah was, Quinn felt she too had hit rock bottom, especially after discovering she was pregnant while her husband was clearly sick and in jail. She took it upon herself to have an abortion, knowing that there was no way the two of them could raise a child with such horrible conditions. She decided to keep the abortion to herself, not telling a single soul. It seemed that their marriage was doomed from the start, and the pair divorced, leaving both completely heartbroken.

Needing a new start, Quinn left Lima and fled to back to Charming, to stay with her brother Jax and his family. Though she enjoyed the time with her nephews, Quinn knew the life in Charming wasn't the life for her. So, with the support of her brother and his family, Quinn went back to New York, with the hopes of leaning back on her minor and focusing on theatre. She even began to visit Beth, becoming a more frequent figure in her daughter's life.

Despite all that has happened in her past, Quinn plans on looking forward to what her future has to offer.
